How to Download Pictures From the Computer to a PNY Flash Drive
PNY USB storage devices are compact storage drives that make it easier to transport files from computer to computer or from home to the office without having to carry a laptop. If you want to preserve your pictures or share them at a family gathering, copy the images to a PNY USB drive
that you can carry with you, protecting them in the event that your computer's hard drive is damaged.
Plug the PNY drive into an open USB port on your computer. Wait for Windows to recognize the new hardware. Click "Start" then "Computer." Locate the "Removable Drive" in the menu and double-click it.
Open the folder on your computer containing the pictures you want to copy to the PNY drive. Click the pictures to highlight them. Right-click and choose "Copy." Click the Explorer window that corresponds to the PNY drive. Right-click in the window and select "Paste."
Click the "Plug and Play" icon in the system tray. The plug and play icon has a small green arrow and a memory card or similar image. Choose "Stop USB mass storage device" in the menu. Watch for the "Safe to Remove Hardware" alert. Click "OK" and remove the drive from the USB port. led light
