How to Use your Flash Drive
Flash drives have become a popular alternative to the aging floppy disk. Flash drives use non-volatile flash memory to store their data. They are also packaged with a convenient USB interface that is considered practically ubiquitous as nearly all computers support USB connections. Additionally, flash drives are not susceptible to erasure through magnetism like floppy disks, and they contain much more storage capacity and speed as compared to a floppy. You can use your flash drive through the Windows Explorer interface after you connect it to an available USB port.
Insert the USB flash drive into an available USB port.
Click the "Start" button in the lower-left corner of the screen.

Double-click the flash drive to view its contents. The flash drive is usually labelled as drive "E:" or higher.
Drag and drop files into the opened Windows Explorer window to copy files to the flash drive. Conversely, drag files from the opened window to a location on the computer, such as the desktop, to copy the files from the flash drive to the computer.
Remove the flash drive from the USB port after all file operations have completed.
